All this positivity. Amazing. What the fuck is it based on though. We have been shit in all 6 games, especially so in the last 3, if that's possible. And yet you have people on here saying 3-1, 2-0, 4-0. Have we bought a new defence and midfield and a striker that I don't know of. In the papers summary today there was a small summation of Mark Noble's contribution from the last game.
As Winston Reid and Cheikhou Kouyate dribbled their team into strife against Saints, tottering on the ball, offering up the disarray that handed Southampton their second goal, Noble was there at the epicentre, watching limply. Noble had, ten minutes earlier, been responsible for what should have been a Southampton goal, when he neglected to track Dusan Tadic’s, allowing the Saint’s attacker an unchecked stroll to the penalty spot to receive a simple cut back. Luckily, the Serb’s shot flew too near to Adrian, but it was no thanks to Noble’s non-efforts.
And as he will no doubt start tomorrow I cannot see anything particularly changing so I'm hoping at best for a point to stop the run of defeats if we can get lucky again as against Bournemouth then maybe a 2-1 but that seems like fantasy football at the minute

we will beat Boro 3-1, I don't think there will be as many nerves as we can't get any worse once we get that result we will do Palace away followed by a loss to Sunderland in true west ham style

If the players have any pride omeone is going to get a backlash very soon, not on anything i have seen apart from 35 minutes against watford but think it may be tomorrow.

Honestly thought we would beat Southampton but it was the same old lazy lethargic sloppy performance we have been serving up all season.
Don't buy that shite about lack of confidence because we started the season exactly this way.
Anyway hopefully Boro are even worse than us, don't take the chances we generously offer them and we get a goal from somewhere.

To everyone on here saying you cannot see us scoring a goal, what crap memories you have.
Last week was the 2nd game since Boxing day last year in which we had not scored a goal. The only other game where we did not score was also against Southampton in Feb.
